Jar 340g. You may choose any one of these delicious items produced
by Martlet Natural Foods of Wellingborough in Northamptonshire. The
conserve is made from British raspberries, the marmalade from the
finest Seville oranges and the spread is made from Belgian chocolate.

ORGANIC PENNE RIGATE AND TOMATO SAUCE @
50 POINTS
Pasta 500g. Sauce 340g. Again produced by the Arcobaleno Collective.
The pasta consists of pure durum wheat and the sauce is made with
tomatoes picked at the height of their maturity, full of the sun and
very sweet.

ORGANIC PLUM JAM @ 60 POINTS
Jar 340g. Hand produced by the staff of the Village Bakery restaurant
in Cumbria during their quiet winter season. This lovely jam is made
with fruit grown on their own 5 acre smallholding. Contains only plums
and sugar.

ORGANIC BALSAMIC VINEGAR @ 60 POINTS
Bottle 25cl. Like all balsamic vinegars, ours is from Modena in Italy
where it is aged in oak casks. Balsamic’s nutty, slightly sweeter
taste makes it more versatile than conventional vinegars. It is equally
delicious drizzled on strawberries as it is on salads.

Jar 500g. A delicious, sweet honey produced by Monsieur de Lescure
and his bees high in the Cevennes mountains of Southern France, an
area rich in wild flora.

Jar 310g. This wonderful, flavoursome chutney makes a fine addition
to cheese, curries and salads. The ingredients are apples, apricots,
cane sugar, sultanas, cider vinegar, salt, ginger, garlic and spices.

ORGANIC MEAD @ 120 POINTS
Bottle 75cl. Produced by Brian Reed of Broughton Pastures. Mead is
a traditional beverage made by fermenting honey and water to create
a fresh, light, medium dry drink similar to Moselle or Graves in style,
with a sensation of honey in the flavour and bouquet. It is matured
for up to two years and is to be drunk as a fine wine. Alcohol 12%.

ORGANIC GINGER WINE @ 120 POINTS
Bottle 75cl. Also from Broughton Pastures, a delicious medium dry
wine made with fermented ginger. Unlike many ginger wines it is not
sickly sweet and contains no artificial colourings. As a traditional
winter tipple it may be served on its own or as a Whisky Mac. Served
chilled, it also makes a pleasant summer drink. Alcohol 12.5%.

ORGANIC OLIVE OIL @ 150 POINTS
Bottle 75cl. This high quality olive oil is from the Puglia region
of Southern Italy, an area famous for its olive trees. It is produced
by Giancarlo Ceci on his 170 hectare farm, ‘Agrinatura’, set 250m
above sea level where the olive groves are surrounded by oak woods.
The olives are hand picked and processed immediately. The filtration
is done using natural methods thus preserving the quality and distinctive
flavours of the region.

ORGANIC MERLOT @ 150 POINTS
Bottle 75cl. This ‘Vin de Pays d’Oc’ displays all the classic Merlot
characteristics. Spicy berry fruit and a good nip of tannins have
created a well-balanced wine. ‘Ripe and plummy’ was how Richard Neill
of the Saturday Telegraph described it.
